Challenge:
Create two diptychs sharing a common theme. The first diptych uses six different personal photos — three for one half and three for the other. The second diptych uses type.
Behind the Scenes:
For this second diptych I took inspiration from T.S. Elliott’s Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats. I combined photos of my cats, Bryce and Tuck, gazing into space reminiscent of “rapt contemplation,” with a segment of The Naming of Cats poem.
For the first diptych checkout Yawn.
