Create tileable background pattern, placeables and character images for 2D side-scroll video game.
Behind the Scenes:
Based on the Discworld novels by Terry Pratchett, the game features a thief on the run from the Luggage. Set in the basement of a middle-ages style fantasy world, the game elements are meant to follow the feel portrayed in the novels.
I drew on my experience in RPG Dungeon and Dragons style games. I used the character from the game “Thief” as my primary model, while the Luggage was modeled on pieces of fan art and portrayals from other Discworld based games.
